Planning on selling your property? The Maryland Homeowners Association Act requires that the seller disclose to the buyer, at or before the time a real estate purchase contract is entered into or within 20 calendar days of entering into a contract, certain information concerning the development in which the lot is located. These documents may include but not limited to:
Statement including Fees and Frequency paid, if any fees charged against the lot are delinquent, pending judgments or claims against the association.
Articles of Incorporation, The declaration, Codes Covenants and Restrictions, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, etc.
Copy of current fiscal year budget
